NEW VIDEO: “Empire State of Mind (Part 3)” Official Video
The video for my version of “Empire State of Mind” is finally here!! This video marks the directorial debut of Quddus (MTV, Access Hollywood). It was shot throughout New York City and includes appearances by Victor Rasuk (HBO’s How To Make It In America) and Jenna Andrews (Island/Def Jam).
Here’s what Quddus had to say about the experience…”Mateo’s version of the song takes a completely different approach than Jay-Z’s and the video will also be an entirely different perspective on New York than what Hype Williams did for their video. Instead of sweeping aerial shots and landmarks like Times Square, this video will feature what I think really makes New York special- the people.”
